What is Slow Time Club?

A calm way to put some distance between you and the apps that pull you in, built on Apple's Screen Time.

Slow Time Club helps you use your phone on purpose. You pick the apps that pull you in, and Slow Time Club asks your iPhone to pause them at the times you choose. It's built on Apple's Screen Time, so the blocking happens on your phone.

Three ways to block

  • Quick Block blocks apps right now, for 15 to 90 minutes.

  • Focus Sessions block apps on a schedule, like weekday mornings or every night.

  • App Limits give each app a daily time budget. Use it freely until you reach the budget, then it locks until midnight.

Quick Blocks and Focus Sessions can be Soft or Hard. Soft lets you take a break or stop early. Hard holds until it ends. You can take a short break, but you can't stop it early.

Also inside

  • Breaks let you step out of a block for a few minutes. The block comes back by itself.

  • App Folders save a set of apps once so you can reuse it for any block.

  • Insights show how you used your phone this week or month. If you turn on Apple Health, you'll see your sleep there too.

  • The Quick Block widget shows your block on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, and can start a new one with the apps you used last.

You won't find streaks, scores or badges here. Use Slow Time Club in whatever way suits you.
