Slow Time Club

A short checklist that fixes most blocking problems, plus links to help for specific issues.

Blocking isn't working: start here

If a Focus Session didn't kick in, open Slow Time Club. It puts up any block that should be running straight away.

A block didn't start on time

Open Slow Time Club to clear finished blocks, then check nothing else is still covering that app.

Apps are still blocked after the block ended

Tap the "Break's over" notification or open Slow Time Club, and your block goes straight back up.

My break ended but apps didn't lock again

Update Slow Time Club, then check Apple's usage count and save the limit again to get it back on track.

An App Limit fired too early, too late, or not at all

iPhone draws app names and icons for us. If one stays blank, remove that app and pick it again.

App names or icons are blank

Update Slow Time Club first, then check Apple's own numbers and Share Across Devices.

My screen time looks wrong or too high

Insights need Screen Time turned on and about a day of data. Here's how to check both.

Insights are empty

Slow Time Club has lost its Screen Time access. Reconnect it and your saved blocks come back.

All my blocks disappeared, or Slow Time Club is asking for Screen Time again

That's Uninstall protection. It turns on by itself during a Hard block, and you can switch it on or off in Profile.

I can't delete apps or change the date and time

iPhone can block about 50 apps and 50 websites at once. Use categories or fewer apps to stay under it.

I added lots of apps and blocking stopped

Other blockers and Apple's own limits work separately from us. Here's how to tell them apart and switch them off.

Another screen-time app, or Apple's Downtime, is interfering

Busy or older iPhones can pause background tasks. Open Slow Time Club at the start of a session to be sure.

Blocks are unreliable in Low Power Mode, on older phones, or in games

No. iPhone keeps your blocks on even when Slow Time Club is closed or your phone restarts.

Does swiping the app away stop my blocks?

Open Slow Time Club once after switching your phone on or landing somewhere new. Schedules follow local time.

I changed time zone or my phone was off

This prototype demo is aware that you are reading “{title}”. It can point you back to the current article, but a production article-aware Fin contract is still follow-up work.

Prototype article-aware answer

Because you already asked about invitations, this prototype demo can add the follow-up: use the role selector before sending each invite to limit access to the teammate responsibilities.

Prototype role-limiting follow-up

This prototype demo suggests starting with your workspace profile, inviting the team members who need access, and then connecting the integrations you use.

Prototype getting-started answer

In this prototype demo, integrations are configured from workspace settings. Choose the integration, connect the account, and review the enabled permissions.

Prototype integrations answer

In this prototype demo, invite teammates from workspace settings, then choose the access each teammate needs before sending the invitation.

Prototype invite-team answer

This prototype demo does not have a scripted answer for that question yet. Try asking how to invite your team or open a source article. No production Fin API was called.
