Open Slow Time Club once after you switch your phone back on, or after you land in a new time zone. It checks what should be running right now and puts things right.

If your phone was off

  • If your phone was off when a block was meant to start or end, iPhone may not catch up by itself. Opening Slow Time Club fixes it.

  • A Quick Block that finished while your phone was off is cleared when you open Slow Time Club.

  • App Limits still reset for the new day if your phone was off at midnight. This happens when you open Slow Time Club.

If you changed time zone

  • Focus Sessions follow your phone's local time. A 9:00 session runs at 9:00 wherever you are.

  • When you travel, check your Focus Session times still make sense in the new time zone.

  • Keep Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically on, so your phone switches time zone correctly.

If blocks still look wrong, go through Blocking isn't working: start here.

Why this happens

If your phone is off at the moment a block should start or end, there's nothing for iPhone to wake up, and it doesn't always catch up afterwards. That part is down to Apple. Following local time is our choice, so your sessions fit your day wherever you are.
