Setup takes a few minutes. By the end, your first block is running and you're on Home.
Steps
Tap Reclaim time.
Tell us your first name, your age and a guess at how many hours a day you spend on your phone. Tap Next after each one. We use these to personalise Slow Time Club (what we collect).
Swipe through a short look at what that time adds up to, then tap I want to reclaim my time.
Allow Screen Time access in Apple's pop-up. You might need Face ID or your passcode. Why we need this
Pick the 3 or 4 apps you open without thinking, then tap Next. We save them in a folder called Distractions, which you can change later.
On Choose your first step, tap Quick block, Focus session or App limit, then set it up. App limit only shows if you picked at least one app, not just categories or websites.
Your block starts straight away. Tap the button on the confirmation screen to go to Home.
After setup
Shortly after you reach Home, the plans screen appears. Your free week has already started, so you can close it and carry on. Choosing Monthly or Annual starts Apple's 1-week free trial, which renews automatically unless you cancel. How the free week works
We'll also ask to send you notifications. Here's what they're for.
If you said no to Screen Time
Tap Connect Screen Time to try again. Slow Time Club can't block anything without it.
