Uninstall protection stops apps being deleted from your iPhone, so you can't get around a block by deleting an app. You'll find it in Profile.

What it does

While Uninstall protection is on:

  • No app can be deleted from your iPhone. This covers every app on the phone, including Slow Time Club, not only the ones you block.

  • Your iPhone's date and time stay set automatically, so the clock can't be moved to skip a block.

The Uninstall protection card in Profile shows whether it's on, for example On · Your apps can't be uninstalled or Off · Your apps can be uninstalled.

Turn it on

  1. On Home, tap the star icon at the top left to open Profile.

  2. Tap the Uninstall protection card.

  3. Tap Enable protection.

Turn it off

  1. Open Profile and tap Uninstall protection.

  2. Tap Disable protection.

You can turn it off whenever no Hard block is running.

During a Hard block

Uninstall protection switches on by itself while a Hard block is running, even if you've left it off. The card says On · Auto-enabled during hard blocks, and the button reads On during hard blocks and can't be tapped. When the block ends, protection goes back to however you had it set.

Why turn it on

Some people delete an app to get past a Soft block or an App Limit, then install it again later. With protection on, that shortcut is gone, so a block stays a real block.

Uninstall protection works while you have a subscription or your free week.
