Tap the Break's over notification, or open Slow Time Club. Either one puts your block straight back up.

To help breaks end on time

  1. Keep notifications on for Slow Time Club so the reminder reaches you: Settings → Notifications → Slow Time Club → Allow Notifications.

  2. Want to end a break early? Open Slow Time Club and tap RESUME on a Quick Block, or Resume on a Focus Session. Apps lock again at once.

  3. Try not to swipe Slow Time Club away during a break. Your blocks still work if you do, but the app's own backup timer pauses until you open it again.

  4. If breaks often run long, restart your iPhone and update iOS: Settings → General → Software Update.

  5. Turn off Low Power Mode during sessions if you can: Settings → Battery → Low Power Mode.

If apps still aren't locking, work through Blocking isn't working: start here.

Why this happens

Sorry about this. When a break starts, Slow Time Club takes the block down and asks iPhone to wake it again when the break is over. iPhone decides exactly when that happens. If it's late, apps stay open for longer than they should. That's why we also send the "Break's over" notification, and why opening Slow Time Club puts the block back straight away.
